This month has been a wonderful month! Meghan returned from maternity leave and moved into a new position as a Technical Support Specialist on our React Team. Daisha, who was filling in while Meghan was out, has agreed to stay on permanently as our dispatcher while she continues to pursue a Masters Degree in Educational Administration.
Amy, Amanda & I completed the Tomoka Half Marathon and really enjoyed the long run through the hardwood hammock of the Tomoka State Park. The run, which began at dawn, is bookended there and back by a challenging bridge that crosses the Halifax river.
I’ve been working on a document management solution and cloud lift for a client. It has been an inspiring virtual spring cleaning: Imagine a journey from boxes of paper records in storage to searchable pdfs and documents accessible from anywhere on any device.
We’ve developed and deployed a private cloud-based document management system that uses an intelligent metadata layer to deliver a simple unified experience for intelligently finding, accessing, organizing and managing information residing within any system, without disturbing existing processes and the users that rely on them.
We’ve even added optical character recognition to automatically convert legacy scanned images that are essentially pictures into searchable documents. If you hear a nerd alert clanging in the distance, we’ll own it — that’s the kind of solution for our clients that we get excited about around here!
