Daisha has been an amazing addition to our team! Many of you got to meet her in February’s Issue in the article “Meet Daisha“.
Something you may not know is that she is a Gates Millennium Scholar! She was one of only 1000 scholars selected in her cohort nationwide in a program that will ultimately provide full scholarships for 20,000 outstanding students. Bill and Melinda Gates set up the foundation in 1999.
Daisha was on TV just last night – on 60 Minutes and my wife Amy and I teared up as she described her experiences. She got to meet Bill and Melinda Gates in person!
She is currently pursing a Master’s Degree at UCF in Educational Leadership.
Daisha is the smiling voice and brains behind our dispatch and we are so proud of all that she has accomplished and that she will accomplish!
